How many diets do you think you have ever tried? Most people would probably put this figure at at least ten and many more would say more on the order of twenty-five and up. It is a sad thing. Obesity and being over weight are both rising tides which affect more and more people with each passing year. When you have it you do not feel good about yourself. That is why so many authors and diet gurus have gotten rich by selling an end all be all solution to the masses: because people will pay nearly anything if they are convinced that they can finally get a solution that will eliminate all that fat that they have been lugging around for years. It is a deadly and devastating thing. But what I am here to talk to you about is weight loss hypnosis, which is a fundamentally different “beast”. The fact is that a purely physical-based diet cannot impact the source of your bad eating habits. Once you have had success with one plan, like the South Beach Diet or the Atkins Diet etc., then you are pretty much doomed to gain it all back in a short time. You need to change your underlying beliefs or you’ll be overweight your whole life: this is what those profiteers don’t tell you.

The only way to change your beliefs consciously is by some form of hypnosis for weight loss. Even when mental changes occur without “hypnotism” you are really undergoing the same process which has only been codified recently by doctors. That’s right: your mind is at the center of your problems, not your stomach. Have you ever stopped to think who is telling your hand to pick up that donut? It’s your mind and it must be changed!

One practice you can implement on your own is self hypnosis for weight loss. This is the cheap way to go because you don’t need to pay a hypnotherapist. It involves basically getting into a relaxed state and then mechanically reconfiguring your own subconscious.  You need to go into this deep level because that is where change can be made. No one can tell you how this works; you have to figure it out yourself.

Then there are professional services. These are great. They involve trained people who really know what they’re doing. If you have a little extra cash then I would go with this method. The fact is you need a powerful hypnotherapist who is going to wrench the source of your weight problems right out of the center of your mind. This is where hypnosis and weight loss really meet and duke it out with the enemy. Usually it will take a series of meetings before any progress is seen. This is not some overnight sensation in most cases, although I’m not saying that there is no record of that happening. I just think it is important to manage your expectations.

Now, one thing I do suggest is to couple your weight loss hypnosis with other healthy practices. There’s no reason not to keep trying to diet and exercise when you undergo the process. That would be contradictory, wouldn’t it? Instead you will want to launch an attack on every single front possible. Okay? If you do that then your chances of success have at least quadrupled, I would say. I know you can do it and I believe in you!

People, fat is the new plague. It is so sad to see people who are putting themselves into harm’s way by their own doings. I do not blame the person, though, because I know how tough life can be at times and that we all need to absorb the shock in some way. But I only want you to know that there is a technique available that can be used on your own mental and spiritual self, in conjunction with whatever diet and exercise you are doing. This thing really must be attacked on all three fronts: mental, physical, and spiritual. Believe me, I think prayer is a very useful tool that should also be incorporated. But the bottom line is that weight loss hypnosis is often a necessary but overlooked piece of the total puzzle. Many doctors and professionals still poo poo it. You can’t wait for these “scientific” types to catch up to you. In the meantime, you might die. At a certain point in everyone’s life they must really grab the bull by the horns and wrestle out their own destiny without regard to what “others” think is best.
